From September 25~27, 2024, the 4th China Integrated Circuit Design Innovation Conference and IC Application Expo (ICDIA-IC Show), an important platform to show the design achievements and innovative applications of domestic IC, took place at the Taihu International Expo Center, Wuxi. The event showcased leading domestic IC products in key areas like processors, memory, MCU, FPGA, analog chips, communication network, power management, power devices, sensors and other major fields, providing system design selection reference for applications with domestic chips to the customers.
The 2024 Qiangxin China-innovative IC award ceremony was held in Wuxi. Maxic, a leading IC design company in China, won the innovative new IC Award for its optical crown sensor, MT3502, the first to integrate both rotation detection and key detection in the industry.
This honor not only highlights Maxic's innovation strength in IC design but also demonstrates the high industry recognition of its optical sensor products and technologies. It serves as encouragement for the company's continued innovation in the optical sensing field.
The company is committed to becoming a world-class optical sensor supplier, working closely with supply chain partners in the industry to provide customers with comprehensive optical sensor products and turnkey solutions, and to jointly build an independent and controllable, internationally leading optical sensor industry chain.
Product Introduction
MT3502, optical crown sensor, which won the “Innovative new IC award” is the industry's first high-performance, ultra-low power optical tracking sensor to integrate both rotation and key detection. It incorporates 850nm infrared VCSEL emitter, a high-precision ADC, and a high-speed digital image processing module. This sensor boasts integrated transmission and reception, high integration, precision, ultra-low power consumption, easy production testing, and a variety of functions.
MT3502 utilizes laser navigation technology to capture continuous images of an object's surface through laser reflection. Using built-in algorithm, it accurately determines the object's movement, enabling real-time, micro, high-precision, and ultra-low power detection of horizontal movement and rotation angles on stainless steel (STS), where the rotation angle resolution reaches 0.1°. This sensor is primarily used for crown rotation detection and key detection in devices such as smartwatches, smart bands, and smart glasses.
