From September 11 to 13, 2024, the Electronica India, hosted by Munich International Exhibition Group, Germany, was grandly held at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, New Delhi, India.
As invited, Maxic attended the exhibition with newest solutions of optical sensors, automotive electronics, wireless charging series.
With a diverse portfolio spanning seven key categories of sensors—ambient light, proximity, color temperature, flicker detection, optical crown, laser distance, and health monitoring, Maxic is now powering a wide array of devices, including smartphones, smartwatches, and TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbuds, and various consumer electronics. The newly launched MT3321 is an ultra-sensitive color temperature and proximity sensor designed specifically for OLED under-display applications. This chip fits seamlessly under the screen and incorporates three functions—ambient light, color temperature, and proximity detection—into one. MT3321 is available in compact OLGA package with dimensions of 3.32mm x 1.7mm x 0.6mm, which can meet the requirements of full screen applications and perfect for smartphones, smartwatches, fitness trackers, and other smart devices. MT3502 is a high performance, low-power dissipation optical tracking sensor featuring rotation and key detections and integrates 850nm VCSEL emitter, infrared receiving array, high-accuracy ADC and high-speed digital image processing module. Based on the laser navigation techniques, MT3502 measures changes in position by optically acquiring sequential surface images and mathematically determining the speed, so as to realize real-time, micro-distance, high-performance, ultra-low power movement and rotation angle detection on stainless steel (STS) surface, where the rotation angle resolution reaches 0.1°. MT3502 is mainly used in smart devices, such as smartwatches, smart bands, smart glasses, etc., for crown rotation and key press detection. (click for more details)
MT3102 is a miniature, ultra-low power digital optical proximity sensor integrating 940nm VCSEL. The sensor is available in 1.4mm*1mm*0.35mm optimized package size and consumes only 0.7μA current in standby mode. By adopting the self-developed high accuracy skin recognition algorithm, the chip achieves higher than 98%@3mm in-ear recognition rate, and lower than 5%@3mm false-recognition rate for non-skin tissues such as desks, books, clothes, metal and so on. MT3102 is mainly used in wireless Bluetooth earphones such as TWS/OWS, portable hardware products, smartwatches, smartphones, etc.
Maxic is actively expanding in the automotive electronics field, creating a dual platform for “Smartphone + Automotive”. At this exhibition, Maxic exhibited its newest automotive electronic products, including CAN SBC, single-channel and multi-channel LED drivers, and in-vehicle wireless charging series. These innovations drew significant interest from professional visitors and media representatives.
MTQ6013 is a three-channel, linear constant current LED driver for automotive applications, it is compliant with AEC-Q100 standard and supports PWM and analog dimming. The chip delivers 160mA output current per channel, and 480mA when three channels are connected in parallel. Moreover, MTQ6013 is designed with two kinds of fault reporting functions: one for single LED short circuit and one for open circuit, short circuit or thermal shutdown.
